Film Commission’s Role

Jeff Davis Parish Film Commission offers 24-hour availability when you are shooting on location and stand ready to assist your production. We are your Governmental Liaison, maintaining effective working contacts with local government and clearing the path for any services you may require.

We also offer scouting assistance, giving recommendations on accommodations, transportation, crew, etc. and assistance with itinerary planning.

Location Search

Let us know your requirements, ideally with a script, but an email or phone description will do. We maintain an extensive, up to date photo library on sites within our parish. If we have the location you are wanting but no pictures, no problem, we’ll go out and shoot specifically for you.

When you are ready to come take a look, we can help by coordinating your physical scout to the areas/photographs that sparked your interest.
